Erika is a poet, editor & educator based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She is poetry editor of Black Warrior Review, the oldest continuously run literary journal by graduate students in the US, cofounding editor of A Velvet Giant, a genreless literary journal, and an MFA Candidate in Poetry and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama.

Erika also takes on the occasional freelance editing project, and is available to work on a new project this summer! Click here for more information.
